Toddlers Room

In the nursery classroom, Baan Ton Mai Trilingual Kindergarten has designed an environment that is appropriate for the physical and mental development of children aged 1.6 – 2 years. It focuses on promoting self-help skills, learning from experiences around us, and practicing orderly and disciplined behavior continuously through organizing a variety of activities that promote learning in terms of movement, communication, and thinking development. Teachers in the nursery are specially qualified in caring for young children and have been trained in the Montessori curriculum for young children in order to be able to have good relationships with children and provide care that is appropriate for each child’s development.

Montessori Activities

Focus on developing the senses and intellect, as well as fostering valuable life experiences.

Story reading activities

Role play activities

Pre-K

At the preschool level, Baan San Mai School has been designed to promote and support the holistic development of children aged 2-3 years old. The main objective is to prepare them for kindergarten and build their confidence in starting learning in an environment appropriate for their age. Preschool education focuses on development in many important areas, including the development of both large and small muscles, promoting emotional and concentration development, building life experiences, sensory development, language skills development, and building understanding in basic mathematics through systematic learning activities in various learning corners prepared in the classroom.

The school at this level is designed to divide learning areas into different corners, consisting of a muscle development corner, an emotional and concentration development corner, a life experience corner, a sensory development corner, a language skills development corner, a mathematics knowledge development corner, and a learning unit corner. The teaching equipment is selected and arranged in an orderly manner to be consistent with the physical and mental development of children of this age.

Teachers and nannies play an important role in providing care and guiding children in practicing daily routines such as drinking milk from a glass instead of a box, using the toilet by themselves, and promoting self-help skills in various activities to enhance independence and appropriate development in various aspects.

Montessori Activities

Focuses on developing children's senses and enhancing their intelligence, using materials and activities that allow children to learn through direct experiences, including developing thinking skills, problem solving, and learning how to use tools and equipment. This activity is (Thai, English, Chinese). Listening to stories from selected books to promote language skills. Children will learn vocabulary and stories in three languages: Thai, English, and Chinese to enhance their listening and comprehension skills in multiple languages.

Learning unit activities

Activities designed to develop skills in various areas through learning that is linked to the environment around them. Children will learn through activities that help build life skills.

Role play activities

Play that promotes the development of creativity and imagination, where children will role-play in various situations that help build social skills, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Cooking activities

Activities that promote basic cooking skills, including learning about nutrition and food preparation, which helps develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Creative art activities

Activities that allow children to express their creativity using different materials and techniques to develop art and design skills.

Muscle development activities

Chinese language corner

Activities that promote learning and revitalizing the basics through listening to vocabulary, speaking, and practicing reading and writing skills, with an emphasis on using Chinese in various contexts to enhance language skills.

Thai language corner

Learning Thai through various activities such as listening to stories, talking, reading books and writing, using age-appropriate teaching media.

English Corner

English language skills training in listening, speaking, reading and writing, with an emphasis on fun and diverse activities such as reading rhyming poems, singing songs and learning new vocabulary.

Sensory Development Corner

Training the development of the senses through touch, hearing, sight and smell to help children learn to use their senses to explore the world.

Science Corner

Learning about nature and the environment through simple experiments to enhance thinking and observation skills, such as observing plant growth, experimenting with water and air.

Geographic Angle

Learning about maps, places and landscapes through easy-to-understand educational media linked to experiences of travel and world exploration.

Developing creativity through activities that are interspersed with handicrafts such as drawing, sculpting, and crafting, so that children can express their thoughts and emotions.
